Job Description:
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment as per the maintenance plan.
- Conducting inspections, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or faulty components.
- Assist in diagnosing equipment malfunctions and technical issues under the guidance of Maintenance HOD / Engineers.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including performed repairs, inspections, and spare parts usage.
- Assist with equipment repairs, both mechanical and electrical, to ensure timely resolution of breakdowns and minimize production disruptions.
- Conducting tests and trials after maintenance or repairs to ensure proper functioning of the machinery.
- Responsible for building maintenance.
- Keep the maintenance workshop and work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Engineer and purchasing unit to maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and consumables needed for maintenance tasks.
- Support ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
Job Requirements:
- Chargeman B0.
- Proven mechanical and electrical skills are essential.
- Experience as maintenance technician in the food or dairy industry, particularly with milk powder production equipment, is a plus.
