Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Executive to manage the company’s full set of accounts and oversee complete Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting. The candidate will be responsible for handling General Ledger (GL), financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end closing, and ensuring accurate accounting records in compliance with accounting standards and Malaysian regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Accounting (Full Set of Accounts)

• Handling full set of accounts (including journal entries, general ledger and reconciliations)
• Process vendor payments, staff claims, and petty cash
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle full spectrum of accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting)
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare trial balance, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets

2. General Ledger (GL)

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries and adjustments
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support audit processes and financial reporting

3. Profit & Loss (P&L) Management

• Be fully responsible for the company’s P&L reporting and monitoring
• Analyze financial performance and identify variances
• Support management with financial insights and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Able to speak and write English
• Proven experience handling full set of accounts
• Strong mathematical and numerical skills with high accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, SQL, or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to start immediately

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
