Description :
At Aegis Academy, we provide individualized learning support for children and young adults aged 6–25 years old who learn differently or require additional academic and social support. We specialize in 1-to-1 and small group learning tailored to each student’s needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Support students with different learning needs in academic and social development
- Conduct 1-to-1 or small group sessions
- Assist teachers in classroom management and activities
- Prepare simple teaching materials and learning activities
- Build positive relationships with students and parents
- Monitor student progress and behaviour during sessions
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements
- Passionate about working with children and teenagers
- Patient, caring, and willing to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to commit consistently to assigned schedule
- Experience in education, psychology, special education, or related fields is an advantage
- Familiarity with different school curriculums (KSSR, IGCSE, International School syllabus, etc.) is preferred
- University students and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Bonus If You Have
- Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or learning difficulties
- Background in Psychology, Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Special Education
