The Company operates a hybrid working model of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home, and additionally 4 weeks a year you can work from any location that you choose.

Now, we are seeking a talented professional to be recruited on a full-time position in our Global Database Team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Being part of the Quality Control Team in ensuring the standard of company products.
• Design predictive modelling and develop custom data models and algorithms which best fit quality benchmarking on various company products.
• Mine and analyse data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement on process efficiency, fulfil business requirements and taking active role in process-automations.
• Assess gaps of existing processes and identify opportunities for potential improvements, propose and initiate system-enhancement projects.
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or any other quantitative field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for coordinating across teams.
• Proficiency in R Programming and Machine Learning skillset is a MUST: This is a highly specific position requiring strong programming skills in statistical computer languages such as R/RStudio, Python, PowerShell, VBA for Excel, etc.
• Familiar with version control system such as Git.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities with an emphasis on process automations & workflow design for system efficiency and effectiveness.
• Experienced in text mining, time series analysis, or visualization in Power BI would be an advantage.
• Innovative, proactive, independent and be able to multitask under pressure and tight schedules.
• Applicant with 1 – 2 years’ experience in programming is preferred but fresh graduates with strong programming skills are encouraged to apply.
