Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, including local businesses, small retailers, and community establishments in outskirt areas.
- Organize product demonstrations, tastings, and presentations to highlight the unique features and benefits of products to potential customers in these areas.
- Seek out and pursue new business opportunities, prospect for potential clients, and expand the customer base through effective networking and local outreach strategies.
- Oversee the entire sales process from order placement to delivery, ensuring accurate processing, timely shipment, and effective inventory management.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with customers to secure profitable sales agreements, while adhering to company policies and revenue targets.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences in outskirt areas to identify sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Plan and schedule sales visits, meetings, and events in assigned outskirt areas to maximize sales opportunities and meet sales targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing complaints promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Generate sales reports and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making and performance enhancement.
Requirements:
- SPM with at least 2 years of work experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG sector, including the wine/alcohol industry.
- Familiarity with and a strong network of contacts in local shop and retailers in outskirt areas will be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion abilities are essential.
- Basic math and computer skills are necessary.
- Good organization and time management skills are crucial.
- A result-oriented team player with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to travel and work outstation, including outside regular office hours, if required.
Working Days & Hours:
- Monday - Friday (9.00am-6.00pm)
- Alternate Saturday (9.00am-1.00pm)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
