Job Summary
The Event Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of events held at the hall within The Mayang Mall. This role ensures seamless event operations, effective client and vendor management, and optimal utilization of the venue to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all hall bookings, event scheduling, and client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate closely with event organizers, vendors, and mall management to ensure smooth event setup, execution, and dismantling.
- Ensure the hall is consistently maintained in excellent condition and complies with all safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Supervise ongoing events to ensure efficient operations and promptly resolve any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the hall, increase bookings, and maximize revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in event or venue management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
