Position Overview: A Commis I is an entry-level position in a professional kitchen, focused on learning and assisting with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food. The Commis I works under the guidance of senior kitchen staff to develop culinary skills and gain experience in a variety of kitchen functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient assembly.
- Help in the cooking process, including monitoring cooking times and temperatures.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Follow recipes and instructions from chefs to ensure dishes are prepared consistently.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations.
- Support senior kitchen staff in daily operations as required.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
