Description
Primary Objective:
- Management of operational excellence – project management for IT and non IT, including special projects
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and operations to optimize customer centricity and productivity for Group Insurance
- Identify Gaps in current processes and provide potential solutions
- Execute new initiative on improving end-to-end processes by providing Innovation & Solution to key GI processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Ideate, review and enhance processes & service for Group Insurance
- Engage with respective stakeholders to diagnose, design and implement digital solutions/automation tools
- Understand needs and pain points via Design Thinking
- Work with users to define improvement plan during implementation
- Identify and work with vendor to implement solution (if needed)
- Engage with Circle/Group Leads to gather business requirements and co-develop solutions
- Assist to review CRs for any confirmed enhancement
- Build business case to get projects approve
- Work with respective teams to gather requirement, study the feasibility and propose to management.
- Engage with key stakeholders across stages of the value chain to understand process and address roadblocks on the way of efficient and effective service delivery
- Monitor effectiveness of overall implemented process improvement
- Assist in providing necessary reports as required by management, stakeholders, etc
- Participate in Agile Ceremonies
- Continuously provide process improvement ideas to the team
- Sharing of best practices amongst the team
- Any other tasks assign by Team Lead
System Enhancement
-
- To assist Business Analyst to coordinate with users on their requirement and to work with IT Project Manager/Team on the requirement.
- To assist Testing Team to coordinate within business users to ensure achieving UAT timeline.
- Monitoring the system enhancement performance after deployment and to provide feedback to IT.
- To liaise with IT Insurance on Project and Initiatives related matters.
Process Improvement
- Identify Gaps in current processes and provide potential solutions
- Drive process improvement using Lean methodology / robotics
- Engage with SP/Tribe/Group Leads to gather business requirements and co-develop solutions and business case
- Work with IT and system users to define improvement plan during implementation
- Monitor effectiveness of overall implemented process improvement
- Engage with respective stakeholders to diagnose, design and implement digital solutions/automation tools based on value at stake/ROI

Bachelor Degree - 1) Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience2) Qualification in project management or equivalent.
- Certified/Knowledge on the following is a plus 1) Project Management 2) Service Lean Sigma3) Six Sigma
- Working experience in Insurance Industry preferably in General Insurance with minimum 5 years’ experience in managing role.
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
- Direct work experience in project management capacity.
- Proven experience in people management.
- Proficient in project management software
