Job Description:

• Identify and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize production efficiency while minimizing carrying costs.
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Ensure that materials and components purchased meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
• Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery.
• Work within budget constraints to minimize expenses while maintaining quality standards.
• Continuously seek new suppliers and products to improve cost-efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their material requirements and align procurement accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, and pricing agreements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses without compromising quality.
• Inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Address any urgent or unforeseen material needs or supply issues that arise during the day.
• Engage in price negotiations with suppliers to secure cost-effective terms for materials.
• Prepare weekly procurement reports detailing purchases made, costs, and inventory changes.
• Collaborate with production and sales teams to forecast material requirements for the upcoming weeks.
• Conduct weekly inventory reconciliation to identify discrepancies and address them.
• Review monthly procurement expenses against the budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry developments to inform future procurement decisions.
• Continuously evaluate inventory turnover rates and make adjustments to optimize stock levels.

Requirement :

• Computer literate
• Required language : Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 3-4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Contract for 3 months and will absorb as permanent staff if performances satisfactory
• language : Mandarin , Bahasa , Tamil
