We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA/QC Coordinator to support the company’s quality assurance and quality control processes.

This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements by coordinating quality documentation, monitoring quality performance, and supporting audits and inspections. The QAQC Coordinator will work closely with internal teams and clients to maintain high service quality within a dynamic oil & gas services environment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain the in-house Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with company policies, client requirements, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and verification for slickline equipment and operations prior to deployment.
• Ensure WPCE equipment compliance with API 6A, API 16A, and client specifications, including witnessing and verifying pressure testing.
• Verify lifting and hoisting equipment compliance with client requirements and relevant standards such as DNV 2.7-1, API, and ASME.
• Coordinate and review Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities and inspection results.
• Monitor equipment performance and quality during assembly, disassembly, and servicing processes and support maintenance team in ensuring compliance with QA/QC requirements.
• Ensure all slickline equipment and tools maintain valid certification, calibration, and inspection status prior to field deployment.
• Maintain proper QA/QC documentation, certification records, and audit trails to ensure data integrity and traceability.
• Review and verify inspection reports, test records, procedures, and equipment checklists to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.
• Monitor and coordinate with inspection vendors for calibration of measuring devices, lifting gear inspections, and MPI testing.
• Perform supplier quality evaluation and technical verification and support the procurement team on technical specifications and requirements.
• Conduct equipment inspection and verification prior to loadout, including checking against inventory lists.
• Liaise with clients and third-party representatives on inspection matters and act as internal witness during equipment functional testing.
• Prepare Failure Reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), investigate field failures, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure proper case closure.
• Participate in internal and external audits, including client SQM audits, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support tender submissions by providing QA/QC documentation and ensuring technical compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Diploma in engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in QA/QC coordination; experience in oil & gas, energy, or related industries will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO standards or quality management systems will be an advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: "Foundational understanding of Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) and Slickline tool-string configurations."
• Regulatory Familiarity: "Awareness of API specifications and local regulatory requirements for pressure-containing equipment."
• Strong writing skills, communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
