The Job

• Oversee daily operations of the production line to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Supervise, guide, and train production team members.
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with the QA team to resolve any product quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff performance and productivity
• Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching or training as necessary.
• Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement improvements.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, output data, and downtime logs.
• Report any issues or deviations to management promptly.
• Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Conduct safety briefings and monitor compliance with safety procedures.
• Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing departments to ensure materials and supplies are available.
• Minimize material wastage and downtime due to shortages.
• Liaise with maintenance, planning, and logistics departments to ensure seamless production operations.
• Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align goals and expectations.

The Candidate

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or equivalent
• Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing industries
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production-related software.
• Computer literate and with good spoken & written English and Mandarin.
• Have own transport and willing to travel outstation.
• Willing to work extended hours if required
