Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Creating unique dishes, updating menus, and setting prices.
- Kitchen Management: Leading kitchen staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient service.
- Food Preparation & Quality: Overseeing cooking, plating, and ensuring consistent, high-quality food.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Managing ingredient stock, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maintain budgets.
- Safety & Sanitation: Upholding strict health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Skills and Requirements
- Culinary Expertise: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and diverse cuisines.
- Leadership: Experience managing a team, mentoring, and training staff.
- Creativity: Ability to create new recipes and stay updated with culinary trends.
- Organization: Strong multitasking skills to manage time in a fast-paced environment.
