Description :
The Account Executive is responsible for handling daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, supporting audits, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. The role ensures compliance with company policies and statutory requirements while supporting the Finance team in smooth day-to-day operations.
THE JOBSCOPE
- Handle daily accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliation.
- Verify supplier invoices, process staff claims, and prepare payment vouchers.
- Issue invoices to customers and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist in monthly closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and financial statements preparation.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing necessary documents and explanations.
- Assist in preparing management reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with other hotel departments for financial-related matters.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience (hotel or hospitality industry experience preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., MYOB, UBS, AutoCount, or similar).
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fresh graduates with internship experience in accounting/finance are also encouraged to apply.

Pay: From RM2,600.00 per month
