Full job description

1) Doctors must carry out their role in a fully professional and competent manner as medical practitioners based on the “Modern Hippocratic Oath,” without regard to race, religion, or status.

- Take relevant patient history.

- Perform thorough physical examinations.

- Conduct relevant investigations.

- Always provide appropriate and prompt treatment according to the patient’s condition.

- Manage chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, including follow-up care.

- Perform all types of health screenings.

- Carry out procedures such as:

• Wound cleaning, suturing, suture removal, Incision and Drainage (I&D)
• Medication/vaccine injections
• Finger prick blood tests, blood sampling for laboratory tests, IV cannulation (Branula insertion)
• Removal of foreign bodies from the ear, throat, and nose
• Ultrasound KUB, HBS, obstetric ultrasound
• Nail avulsion (partial/complete)
• Eye irrigation

Female doctors should be competent in the following procedures:

• Examination related to women’s health or breast conditions
• Examination and follow-up care for pregnant mothers
• Obstetric ultrasound, gynecological ultrasound
• Insertion or removal of IUD
• Female circumcision
• HVS C+S, Pap smear

2) Qualifications & Requirements

• Certification: Have valid latest Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Registration: Fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good business sense and comfort with digital health systems.
• Attributes: Responsible, ethical, patient-focused and able to work in a team environment
• Willing to work on weekends or extended hours when required.

3) Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: Competitive

Incentive: Revenue-sharing or performance-based bonus for achieving clinic targets.

4) Working Hours

Minimum 164.5 hours per month and able to work in shifts.
