Description :

1. Boiler Operation and Monitoring:

• Operate and monitor steam boilers, pressure vessels, and related equipment.
• Maintain optimal pressure, temperature, and water levels in the boiler system.
• Monitor the system for leaks, malfunctions, or other operational issues.
• Control the flow of fuel, air, and water into the boiler for efficient operation.

2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

• Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of boilers and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, identify faults, and initiate corrective actions.
• Replace or repair components like valves, gaskets, and pipes as necessary.
• Ensure that safety valves, pressure gauges, and other instrumentation are functioning properly.

3. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure all boiler systems are operated in accordance with safety regulations and codes.
• Conduct regular safety checks and safety drills to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain and complete records of boiler operations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Comply with industry regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols.

4. Efficiency & Energy Management

• Optimize fuel consumption to achieve cost efficiency.
• Monitor water treatment processes to prevent scaling and corrosion.
• Implement best practices for energy conservation.

5. Record Keeping and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of boiler performance and maintenance logs.
• Prepare reports for management regarding operational status, maintenance, and potential improvements.
• Document any irregularities or incidents and follow proper reporting procedures.

Requirement:

• Certification: Boilerman Grade 2 Certificate from DOSH Malaysia.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in boiler operation and maintenance
• Strong understanding of boiler operations, safety procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Good knowledge of water treatment and boiler chemical dosing.
• Ability to work in high-temperature environments.
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks and equipment inspections.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
