MRA International (KK Branch) is looking for a Technical Assistant to assist with inspection, documentation, and drafting tasks. This is a 4 months contract with the possibility of renewal based on client recommendation. Salary will be based on experience.

Job Scope

• Assist inspectors in obtaining dimensions of lineworks or structures that require replacement, repairs, or painting, as directed by the supervisor.
• Prepare isometric drawings for final reports, providing essential reference information for other departments within the COMPANY for engineering planning and decision-making.
• Input historical inspection data into the COMPANY’s inspection software and perform linework sketching.
• Allocate, register newly completed documents, and update the database.
• Assist COMPANY personnel with document compilation and search activities.
• Maintain the document tracking system to ensure proper borrowing procedures and accurate registration of borrowed documents in the database.
• Support the COMPANY Engineer with administrative tasks, including preparing correspondence, minutes of meetings, and sending faxes.
• Assist the COMPANY Engineer in updating procedures using relevant software programs.

Requirements

The candidate shall possess the following:

• Minimum Diploma in any field with at least two (2) years of experience as a Technical Assistant or equivalent in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficient in using computer programs for technical drawings and able to read engineering drawings.

Duration

October 2025 - January 2025 (renewal based on client recommendation)

*salary range will be based on experience

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,700.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kota Kinabalu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:
