We are a fast growing automotive group representing a premium brand in Malaysia’s passenger vehicle and electric vehicle (EV) segment. As part of our expansion, we are looking for driven Sales Advisors who are passionate about cars, customer service, and achieving results.
Auto Elegance is part of a growing automotive group that also includes Preeminent Auto Sdn Bhd, the authorised dealer for ZEEKR, a global premium electric vehicle brand. Together, the group is active in both conventional and electric mobility, giving our team exposure to a wide range of products, customers, and career paths within the automotive sector.
Role Overview
As a Sales Advisor, you will be the face of our brand in the showroom. You’ll guide customers through the entire buying journey, from first greeting, to test drive, to vehicle delivery and beyond, ensuring a professional and memorable experience at every step.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Customer Engagement
- Greet and engage walk in and appointment customers in a professional, friendly manner.
- Understand customer needs, budget, and preferences through effective questioning.
- Present and explain vehicle features, specifications, and benefits clearly and confidently.
- Conduct test drives and demonstrate vehicle performance and safety features.
- Present financing, leasing, and insurance options to customers.
- Negotiate pricing within company guidelines and close sales deals.
2. Product Knowledge & Consultation
- Stay updated on new models, trims, technologies, EV features, and competitor offerings.
- Provide honest, professional recommendations based on each customer’s lifestyle and requirements.
- Explain after sales services, warranties, maintenance packages, and charging/ownership (for EV models).
3. Sales Process Management
- Generate leads through online inquiries, social media, showroom walk ins, referrals, and cold calls.
- Follow up promptly with prospects via calls, messages, and emails to secure appointments and bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and sales pipeline in the CRM/system.
- Handle all sales documentation, including booking forms, loan applications, trade in evaluations, and registration documents.
4. Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Build long term relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
- Coordinate vehicle delivery, ensuring a smooth handover and positive delivery experience.
- Collect customer feedback and assist in resolving issues, escalating to management when necessary.
5. Sales Targets & Performance
- Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets for units and revenue.
- Contribute to branch level performance by supporting campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Participate in roadshows, exhibitions, test drive events, and marketing activities when required.
6. Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with marketing to promote campaigns, offers, and digital leads.
- Coordinate with after sales/service teams to ensure a seamless ownership experience for customers.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 - 5 years working experience in automotive sales or related customer facing sales role.
- Strong interest in cars and/or EV technology, with the willingness to continuously learn.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident dealing with all customer segments.
- Proficiency in Mandarin, to communicate with Mandarin speaking customers
- Self motivated, results oriented, and comfortable working in a target driven environment.
- Possess a valid driving licence and able to conduct test drives with customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
