Description :

1. Job Purpose

The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during the night shift, performing daily audit procedures, balancing financial transactions, and preparing accurate reports to ensure a smooth transition of hotel operations into the next business day.

2. Key Responsibilities

Front Office Operations (Night Shift)

• Manage front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring guest needs are handled professionally.
• Perform guest check-ins and check-outs, including late arrivals and early departures.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently during night hours.
• Ensure hotel security procedures are followed throughout the shift.

Night Audit & Financial Control

• Perform end-of-day audit procedures in the hotel PMS.
• Balance room revenue, and other hotel income.
• Verify and reconcile cash, credit card transactions, and postings.
• Identify and report discrepancies or irregularities immediately.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare and distribute daily revenue and night audit reports.
• Ensure accurate posting of charges and corrections before day-end close.
• Maintain audit logs and financial records according to hotel policy.

Coordination & Safety

• Coordinate with Security and other departments during emergencies or incidents.
• Monitor hotel activities and report any unusual situations.
• Ensure smooth handover and communication to the morning shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
