Description :

Position level: Manager/ Senior Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the product strategy for the assigned key account, aligned with market and customer insights.
  • Define and support execution of account-specific tactics to achieve business plan targets (revenue, margin, market share).
  • Ensure execution meets customer requirements, internal standards, and quality targets.
  • Collaborate closely with all members of the key account matrix team, including:

Sales and Application Engineers

Product Management and R&D

Quality and Materials Engineers

Sales Operations and Manufacturing teams (globally)

  • Develop compelling value propositions tailored to customer-specific use cases and technology trends.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and adjust plans to meet commercial targets.
  • Track and report progress on key initiatives using an account KPI dashboard.
  • Represent product and technology progress in internal and external meetings with the customer.
  • Act as a key product interface during customer audits, technical reviews, and business negotiations.
  • Drive the account product strategy based on competitive, technical, and market intelligence.
  • Translate strategy into actionable business plans and support global marketing efforts where applicable.
  • Lead product-related coordination within the global matrixed account team.
  • Anticipate and shape customer product needs, aligning development roadmaps with internal capabilities.
  • Provide clear and structured reporting on technology development, performance, and risks.
  • Set and monitor sales targets for the assigned account in collaboration with the account and regional teams.
  • Matrix Collaboration With: Regional Sales Managers, Field Application Engineers, Product Managers within the account team, Global Quality Engineers, Global Materials Managers & Operations and Planning at relevant production sites.
  • Authorize to approve to make decision on key account that will bring the best interest to company & customers. (win-win solutions)

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related technical/scientific field.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in business English.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the semiconductor (SEMI) industry or vacuum technology sectors.
  • Proven experience in key account management or product management in a matrixed, global organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-tech product portfolios and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong customer orientation and experience representing the company in technical and commercial discussions.
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to product and business challenges.
  • Experience with cost improvement, product development, and customer qualification programs.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM17,000.00 - RM25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
  • Performance bonus

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer Account Management: 10 years (Preferred)
  • Semiconductor industry working: 5 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
