Job Purpose:

• We are a leading interior design & carpentry manufacturer looking for an experienced Assistant Factory Manager to lead our production and site installation teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in hands-on operations, problem-solving under pressure, and delivering projects on time with high quality.

Job Scope Factory Manager:

• Assist in overseeing daily factory operations and on-site installations.
• Support in planning, scheduling, and organizing installation tasks according to project priorities.
• Conduct or assist with morning briefings for the installer team before they depart to site.
• Help identify site issues and coordinate with the project team & QC team for quick resolution.
• Monitor material usage and report any wastage or discrepancies to the management.
• Prepare and submit weekly progress updates, site reports, and team performance observations.
• Assist in reviewing and updating SOPs for fabrication and installation processes.
• Support in supervising quality checks for materials, finished products, and on-site installations.
• Work closely with the factory admin to ensure materials, tools, and equipment are prepared on time.
• Assist in monitoring factory machines and equipment to ensure proper maintenance.
• Act as a supporting liaison between the factory team, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in carpentry or manufacturing production management, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong people management skills across supervisors, admin staff, storekeepers, and installers
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and installation plans
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Workspace

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
