Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Managing Director on-site.
• Supervise and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and MEP-related works (including AV/IT/ELV) to ensure compliance with quality and specification standards.
• Manage subcontractors’ daily activities to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
• Prepare and issue site instructions, weekly progress reports, work schedules, and inspection plans.
• Handle project documentation including work permits, worker passes, clearance forms, and drawings.
• Attend site meetings, conduct inspections, and coordinate handovers with clients and consultants.
• Track project progress, material deliveries, and manpower reports.
• Conduct site feasibility studies, verify drawings, and supervise construction in accordance with approved plans.
• Ensure timely defect rectification, closure of snag lists, and manage post-handover documentation.
• Promote and enforce QHSSE standards (ISO 9001, ISO 37001, ISO 45001). Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and workplace inspections.
• Manage final inspections, documentation, and training for client handovers.
• Provide after-sales service and address client feedback or requests during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
• Coordinate all M&E activities across trades and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with design requirements and project timelines.
• Review M&E designs, carry out site inspections, and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Specialize in mechanical or electrical works, including installation and maintenance of building services such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Requirements

• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in M&E scope, preferably within Interior Design Fit-Out Construction and Project Management.
• Strong work ethic, discipline, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Demonstrates loyalty, responsibility, and ownership of tasks and deliverables.
• Willing to work extended hours or weekends when necessary.

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand M&E drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
