OB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Purchase Order Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
- Sourcing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories, including supplier identification, negotiation, and contract management.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships, conducting regular evaluations and monitoring performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with business objectives.
- Compliance and Process Improvement:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing processes and reduce costs.
- Record-Keeping and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, receipts, and reports for auditing purposes.
- Prepare price evaluations, cost-saving reports, and management summaries.
- Negotiation and Administrative Support:
- Negotiate effectively to achieve optimal outcomes in quality, service, and pricing.
- Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department, including issuing purchase orders and data entry.
- Monitoring and Follow-Up:
- Monitor delivery schedules and shipping arrangements, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Follow up on new quotations and acknowledge receipt of purchase orders from suppliers.
- Adherence to Procedures:
- Adhere to established process controls and procedures to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Flexibility and Additional Duties:
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by management
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
*Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management in similar industries (electrical).
* Demonstrated success in negotiating with suppliers and managing procurement processes.
SKILLS:
* Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
* Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to inform strategic decision-making.
* Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
* Familiarity with procurement software and regulatory requirements.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,899.75 per month
