OB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Purchase Order Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
  • Sourcing Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned categories, including supplier identification, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships, conducting regular evaluations and monitoring performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align purchasing activities with business objectives.
  • Compliance and Process Improvement:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing processes and reduce costs.
  • Record-Keeping and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, receipts, and reports for auditing purposes.
  • Prepare price evaluations, cost-saving reports, and management summaries.
  • Negotiation and Administrative Support:
  • Negotiate effectively to achieve optimal outcomes in quality, service, and pricing.
  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department, including issuing purchase orders and data entry.
  • Monitoring and Follow-Up:
  • Monitor delivery schedules and shipping arrangements, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  • Follow up on new quotations and acknowledge receipt of purchase orders from suppliers.
  • Adherence to Procedures:
  • Adhere to established process controls and procedures to ensure consistency and reliability.
  • Flexibility and Additional Duties:
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:
*Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management in similar industries (electrical).
* Demonstrated success in negotiating with suppliers and managing procurement processes.

SKILLS:
* Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
* Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to inform strategic decision-making.
* Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
* Familiarity with procurement software and regulatory requirements.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,899.75 per month
