Description :

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a welding procedure specification (WPS).
• Operate various welding equipment and tools, including MIG, TIG, and arc welders.
• Perform welding tasks, including joining, fabricating, and repairing metal structures and components.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and conformance to specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, wearing appropriate protective gear.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in welding or completion of a welding training program.
• Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding).
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform welding tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
