Description :
REQUIREMENT :
i. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting working experiences specifically on construction and development industry (Auditing experiences is an advantageous), experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.
ii. Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Malay & Mandarin (any dialect) will be an advantage
iii. Proficiency in UBS & SQL accounting software with good computer knowledge (Microsoft Office and etc)
iv. Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills with positive working attitude
v. Capable of multi-tasking and meticulous, responsible, honest, strong team player and have ability to work independently and effectively within timeframes set
vi. Willing to travel as and when required
vii. Willing to be stationed at Kota Kinabalu for few month for the purpose of job training (Allowance Provided)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Handling full set of accounts with responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness, timely closing and reporting of the monthly financial reports within deadlines.
2. Oversee bank reconciliation processes.
3. Review and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and actual expenditures.
4. Manage all financial aspects of construction-related claims, prepare and review progress claims.
5. Ensure claims align with Bill of Quantity (BOQ), project progress, contract terms, and QS certification.
6. Follow up on claim submission, certification, and payment.
7. Review and validate subcontractor progress claims.
8. Verify work completion, site reports, and supporting documents before approval.
9. Prepare and submit bank claims to release project financing according to loan agreements.
10. Track and reconcile bank disbursements with project accounts.
11. Ensure claims comply with E-invoicing procedure, SST and statutory requirements.
12. Review supplier payments, subcontractor claims, and procurement expenses.
13. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (tax, SST, audit, regulatory bodies).
14. Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and any related parties.
15. Implement internal controls and financial policies to reduce operational risks.
16. Undertake any ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
