Job Vacancy: Site Safety Supervisor
Position: Site Safety Supervisor
Location: Segamat, Johor
Employment Type: Contract
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts or conditions.
- Ensure all work activities are carried out safely and in accordance with HSE requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site personnel.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
- Coordinate and maintain safety documentation and records.
- Ensure all workers use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on safety matters.
- Support implementation of risk assessments and permit-to-work systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
- Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification / Yellow Book.
- Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
- Good knowledge of safety regulations and HSE practices.
- Able to conduct safety training and toolbox talks.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willing to travel and work at project sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pressure testing, mechanical installation, piping, or skid projects is an advantage.
