Description :

• Work with and teach children with special needs and disabilities
• Create and apply appropriate curricula and assign activities specific to each student’s abilities and needs. Teachers also involve each student’s academic, social, and behavioral development
• The teacher will assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student. The Individualized Education Program is designed to create individual goals for the student and is modified to the student’s abilities and needs
• Teachers can work independently to review the IEP with the child’s parents. They work very closely with parents to keep them updated on progress and make recommendations to promote learning in the home. Select teaching methods and support resources to enable individual learners to maximize their potential for independent living

Requirement:

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent in Special Education/Teaching/ Psychology or any related field of study
• An added advantage for those that have at least 1-year working experience in the related position
• Required to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
• Preferably with working experience in the related field, however fresh graduates with a passion for teaching special needs children are welcome
• A positive, passionate, learning attitude is a must!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,999.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Required)

Language:

• English and Mandarin (Preferred)
