Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor two-way radios, base stations, and other communication equipment to maintain constant contact with field personnel, drivers, and supervisors.
• Relay accurate and timely messages between departments, field teams, and control centers.
• Maintain clear communication logs of all incoming and outgoing transmissions.
• Coordinate with security, logistics, and emergency response teams to ensure smooth communication flow.
• Act as a primary communication link during emergency situations such as accidents, equipment breakdowns, or safety incidents.
• Promptly report and relay emergency messages to relevant authorities or departments.
• Support emergency response procedures in accordance with company safety protocols.
• Ensure that all radio and communication equipment are in good working condition.
• Perform regular equipment inspections, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
• Report faults or malfunctions to the IT or Technical Department for repair or replacement.
• Maintain records of equipment status, maintenance, and allocation.
• Maintain daily communication logs including call details, time, and relevant actions taken.
• Record and file incident reports and communication summaries as required.
• Prepare periodic reports on radio usage, issues, and communication efficiency.
• Perform any other communication or administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Communication, Safety, Logistics, or related field.
• Possession of a valid Radio Operator’s Certificate (ROC) or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in radio communication, operations, or safety coordination.
• Experience in construction, marine, oil & gas, or logistics environments is preferred.
• Proficient in the use of radio communication equipment, GPS tracking, and basic IT tools.
• Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain two-way communication systems.
• Basic understanding of signal range, frequency management, and call sign procedures.
• Excellent listening, communication, and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in message transmission and documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure, especially during emergencies.
• Physically fit to perform duties in various field or site environments.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages are an advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
