Position: Assistant Facilitator (Non-Executive)
Location: Sandakan, Sabah
5 days working, 2 off days (rotational)

Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Assistant Facilitator / Coordinator to join our team in Sandakan, Sabah. If you enjoy being around kids, are comfortable interacting with the younger generation, and want to play a part in making learning fun, this role is perfect for you.

As an Assistant Facilitator, you will support our main facilitators in delivering exciting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activities at the Science Center. You will also help with daily tasks, ensure the learning environment is safe and welcoming, and be the main point of contact for children during sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist facilitators in running fun and interactive STEM programs
• Engage with kids and ensure they are comfortable, safe, and enjoying the activities
• Help prepare teaching materials, set up and pack down equipment
• Support day-to-day center operations and cleanliness
• Welcome and guide students, parents, and visitors at the Science Center
• Provide basic reporting or feedback on activities when needed

Requirements

• At least Diploma in any field (education or science-related is a bonus)
• Enjoy working with children and youth, with a friendly and approachable personality
• Easy-going, patient, and comfortable interacting with kids of all ages
• Willing to learn and support STEM activities (training will be provided)
• Team player with good communication skills
• Willing to travel for work if required

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
