Main Purpose of Role: (Why)

The main purpose of this role is to ensure product hardware, particularly in-vehicle hardware are installed, configured and serviced adequately to ensure optimum performance. This is a hands-on role with requirement to travel frequently to be on-site for all installation & maintenance jobs. In doing so the Technician will be responsible for:

1. Installation of all hardware in a vehicle, including in-vehicle electrical wiring, per project requirements

2. Configuration of product accordingly to specifications

3. Replacement of damaged hardware components when necessary

4. Uninstallation of all hardware components at the end of trials with potential clients

5. Support product team for product development, customization, and new product testing

6. Planned preventive maintenance with clients according to company SOP

7. Troubleshooting product issues independently / with support

8. Completing site service report and project documentation as necessary

9. Perform other administrative duties as necessary

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: (Indicate mandatory or preferred)

1. Malaysian ONLY

2. Computer literate – mandatory

3. Engineering or Technical educational background is beneficial

4. Demonstrated customer service experience

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

6. At least 3 years of experience working at site

7. Possess own transport and driving license class D (car)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
