JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Managing the customer / supplier relationship to achieve optimum cooperation & goodwill between the companies.
  • Responsible for collaborating with al disciplines of the organization to ensure the company's interests are well represented and that the customers' needs are understood, planned for, and responded to in a timely manner.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales:

  • Primary responsibility is to generate a revenue and increase market and/or customer share of business by identifying ad selling to prospective accounts through research and networking.
  • Activities include program management, account development & establishing key relationships.
  • Meet assigned revenue & profitability targets.
  • Defines & negotiates legal contracts with customers.

Account Management:

  • Maintains relationships for new & existing accounts in order to protect & grow existing business opportunities. This includes developing key account plans to align resources to support company growth objectives with major customers/opportunities.
  • To proactively conducts strategic account reviews with all assigned customers on a regular basis to review service needs & usage trends.
  • Provide the required input in defining the strategic plan & developmetn of technical roadmaps.

Product:

  • Identifies the need for new products.
  • Works with Marketing, Design Engineering, Manufacturing & R&D to assist in new product development initiatives targeted to the needs of the key account(s).
  • Able to respond to functional & technical elements of RFQs.

Manufacturing:

  • Generates both short-term & long-term rolling forecasts for revenue & optimized product/volume mix.

Marketing Communications:

  • Gives input to the marketing group to support the goal of establishing & implementing promotional, advertising, & communication strategies.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to define the relevant business environment by conducting market assessments, benchmarks, & competitor analysis.

Competition:

  • Benchmarks our products with the competition from a technical & business perspective.
  • Monitors competitive forces that could compromise our position.
  • To provide relevant market information & customer expectations to the company management & initiate corrective action if needed.
  • Managing associated cost center budget &working cross-functionality to ensure that budgeted gross margins are achieved.
  • Develops & monitors KPIs to monitor customer satisfaction based on agreed commercial targets as stated in the sales plan.
  • Reports achievements periodically based on the agreed KPIs.
  • Identifies products, services & cost & technology roadmaps that meet customer need & business objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years in sales
  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in the same industry.
  • Preferably in the field of Mechanical or Business management with additinal commercial courses & training.
  • Excellent verbal & written languages: Mandarin-speaking is preferred; English
  • Direct working knowledge of the industry
  • Focused & detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
  • Interpersonal skills & relationship building skills capable of inspiring, motivate & achieve commitment from both customer & employees.
  • Competent with the use of Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

  • 5 days/week; Fully onsite

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per week
