JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Invoice & Payment Processing

  • Acquire, review, and process supplier invoices on a timely basis.
  • Review and assign the correct to which project and nature of the expenses
  • Ensure all supporting documents (Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, etc.) are attached in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve invoice irregularity within the Base and report unresolved issues to HQKL.

2. Petty Cash Management

  • Manage petty cash in accordance with company policy.
  • Record all petty cash transactions daily with complete supporting documents.
  • Reconcile petty cash and request reimbursement when required.
  • Ensure monthly petty cash submissions to HQKL are completed on time.

3. Financial Support

· Identify and report any cost overruns or irregular spending trends.

· Work closely with the Project Engineers and operation teams to understand cost movement.

· Assist in the preparation of department project Profit & Loss statements or Management Accounts in line with HQKL reporting guidelines.

4. Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Finance team.
  • Oversee and monitor staff overtime and hardship claim submissions.
  • Prepare daily activity reports and meeting documentation subject to Base Manager's assignment as and when required.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure compliance with all company financial policies and procedures.

2. Maintain awareness of QHSE Policy, Objectives/KPIs, associated risks, and implementation of control measures.

Carry out other tasks as assigned by Management from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education

· Diploma in Accountancy

Work Experience

· Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience

FINANCIAL COMPETENCIES

· Basic knowledge of accounting principles

· Strong communication and formal writing skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with AutoCount Accounting Software is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
