Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervisory Support:
  • Provide support to the Housekeeping Supervisor in overseeing the housekeeping team.
  • Assist in assigning tasks and responsibilities for efficient operation.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct inspections to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations meet established cleanliness standards.
  • Public Area Cleanliness:
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of all public areas, including the lobby, corridors, and recreational spaces.
  • Laundry Operation:
  • Assist in the proper handling of guest and hotel linens in coordination with the laundry team.
  • Inventory Management and Record Keeping:
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels for housekeeping supplies and amenities.
  • Aid in keeping accurate records of housekeeping activities and expenses.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise HK staffs and other related staff.
  • Foster a positive and motivated work environment, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Training and Development:
  • Assist in conducting training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of housekeeping staff.
  • Provide support in ongoing coaching and performance feedback to the team.
  • Guest Requests and Concerns:
  • Provide support in addressing guest requests for additional services or amenities promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in handling guest concerns or special requests with attention to guest satisfaction.

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role:

  • Previous Experience in Housekeeping or a Related Role:
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining high cleaning standards in a hospitality setting.
  • Leadership Potential:
  • A desire to grow into a supervisory role and develop strong leadership skills.
  • Attention to Detail:
  • Meticulous approach to inspecting and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations.
  • Inventory Management and Record Keeping:
  • Willingness to learn and assist in managing housekeeping supplies and maintaining accurate records.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities:
  • Willingness to learn and assist in addressing operational challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Languages:
  • Proficiency in English and Malay is required. Knowledge of Tamil and Chinese is an advantageous bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
