Job Summary The Business Development Executive is to join our Personal Banking Mortgages Team in Petaling Jaya Office, the job holder is responsible for driving mortgage sales growth by acquiring new customers and deepening relationships with existing clients, also to involves actively prospecting for potential customers, providing comprehensive financial advice, and ensuring a seamless customer experience throughout the mortgage application process.About Wealth and Retail Banking Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) serves more than 11 million clients in many of the world’s fastest-growing markets. Our client continuum spans from Mass Retail to Affluent, including high-net worth clients served by our Private Bank. We leverage digital banking channels with a human touch to provide clients with differentiated products and services such as deposits, payments, financing, wealth management and personalised advice. We also support small business clients with their business banking needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently meet and surpass monthly mortgage sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by networking and generating leads to expand our customer base.
- Conduct thorough financial needs analyses to understand customer requirements and recommend the most suitable mortgage products.
- Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, real estate agents, and developers to foster trust and loyalty.
- Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes in the mortgage industry to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
- Adhere to all bank policies and procedures related to mortgage sales and lending to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
Role Requirements
- Possess minimum SPM (Passed)
- Minimum of one years of experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of mortgage products and the property market is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Possess a valid driving license as the role requires travelling.
