Role Summary
The Account Executive will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of Accounting operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements, and company policies. The role also provides exposure to the implementation of a new ERP system and the streamlining of accounting and payment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day Accounting operations, including invoice verification and posting
- Actively involved in cost accounting
- Provide e-Invoice summary report and submit to IRB
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Support month‑end closing and preparation of financial reports
- Participate in ERP system implementation and contribute to process improvements across the PR‑to‑Payment cycle
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all AP transactions
- Liaise with procurement, production, and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations in a manufacturing setting
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Relevant academic background in accounting, finance, or related discipline
- Diploma or degree qualification (with proven accounting experience)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and approaches
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
Key Competencies
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
