Position: Education Sales Executive – Sarawak

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Educational Sales Consultant to help set up and manage a new sales team in Sarawak. This key role is ideal for someone with a passion for education, proven sales expertise, and strong leadership skills. You will play a pivotal role in building and running a local sales team from the ground up, expanding our market presence in the region, and driving the growth of our education products and services.

This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working independently while being a key player in recruiting, mentoring, and managing a high-performing sales team. You will collaborate closely with our central sales and management teams, ensuring that our offerings meet the evolving needs of educational institutions across Sarawak.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup, training, and management of a new sales team in Sarawak.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients in the education sector (schools, institutions, etc.).
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions, offering product demonstrations as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with educational institutions, focusing on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive sales growth, achieve targets, and expand our market presence in the Sarawak region.
  • Recruit, mentor, and support team members to ensure individual and team success.
  • Handle outbound calls to potential and existing customers, conduct follow-ups, and manage customer inquiries effectively.
  • Gather customer feedback, monitor market trends, and provide insights to optimise sales strategies.
  • Work closely with management to develop and implement strategies for scaling sales operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the education sector.
  • Proven experience in managing or leading a sales team is highly advantageous.
  • Strong background in telemarketing, telesales, or outbound sales is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Malay and English.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead a team with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in office tools and CRM systems for managing client data and sales activities.
  • Familiarity with the educational landscape in Sarawak is a bonus.
  • Managerial experience in an educational institution or previous teaching experience is an advantage.
  • Own a laptop with a reliable internet connection.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Basic salary of RM2000 - RM2300 plus performance-based incentives.
  • Flexible working hours: 9 AM - 5 PM (Monday to Friday), with occasional weekend or evening work if required.
  • Remote working options available, with opportunities for in-person meetings and school visits as necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
