Job Summary:
The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing banquet operations to ensure events are executed smoothly and efficiently. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all banquet functions, including setup, service, and breakdown
• Ensure event rooms are prepared according to client requirements and company standards
• Lead and manage banquet staff during events, including assigning duties and monitoring performance
• Liaise with kitchen, sales, and event planning teams to ensure smooth event execution
• Monitor service quality and ensure excellent customer experience at all times
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Check equipment and facilities before and after events to ensure proper functioning
• Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and coordinate replenishment when necessary
• Assist in staff training and development

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in banquet or food & beverage operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
