Description :

The applicant must possess experience and knowledge in financial modelling, market research, and due diligence. The role involves preparing proposals for new projects or ventures, presenting them to the Board of Directors, and submitting them to relevant financiers for funding consideration.

Other Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and analyze financial trends to provide insights to management.
• Accounting Operations: Manage and process financial transactions, maintain the general ledger, and perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Preparing budgets, monitor financial performance against budgets, and provide variance analysis.
• Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including overseeing tax payments and filings.
• Audits & Internal Controls: Conduct internal audits, review financial records for inconsistencies, and help implement and maintain internal controls for financial security.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records and databases, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure.

Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, strong understanding of accounting regulations and standards, and knowledge of financial software.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to collect, interpret, and analyze complex financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain financial information to management and other stakeholders.
• Organization & Time Management: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Preferably, candidates should be members of MIA/MICPA with at least 10 years of experience, and hold a Degree or Master’s in Accounting."

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,185.71 - RM10,000.00 per month
