QUALIFICATION(S) / EXPERIENCE(S) :

• A diploma, bachelor's or master's degree in counseling, psychology, administrative or a related field
• Must be registered with Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (KB:PA)
• Proficient in both English & Bahasa (spoken & written)
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
• Ability to work independently as as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent in communication, interpersonal & conflict resolution skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide individual and group counselling to address students' academic, personal, social, and career needs.
• Assist students in setting achievable goals and developing effective skills or habits.
• Administer assessments to evaluate students' competencies, personality traits, and interests, identifying suitable academic and career pathways.
• Support students in academic planning, including course selection and scheduling.
• Guide students on educational and professional options such as courses, majors, and programs aligned with their aspirations.
• Work with parents, teachers, and administrators to address learning or behavioral challenges that may impact students' success.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create strategies for achieving students' academic and career objectives.
• Provide information on resources like tutoring, mentoring, and career exploration to help students meet their goals.
• Ensure students' psychological and emotional well-being by working closely with academic staff and management.
• Oversee student discipline, attendance, and overall behavior, taking necessary actions per institutional policies.
• Manage student feedback, complaints, and conflict resolution effectively.
• Organize and oversee student engagement activities, including events, clubs, and leadership programs.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
