Description :
Responsibilities
- Perform teaching/clinical placement teaching at any hospital as assigned by School;
- Perform clinical guidance at hospital for all clinical posting module based on the programme syllabus;
- Monitor students’ attendance and performance;
- Monitor students’ progress and guide them during their class/clinical postings;
- Mark students’ reports, presentations, assignments and rate student’s performance in class/clinical postings;
- Involve in preparation of teaching materials especially for clinical module;
- Any other tasks as assigned by the University from time to time.
Qualification
- Candidate must possess Master/Degree/Diploma in Nursing or equivalent with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC);
- At least 5 years of teaching/clinical working experience.
- Community experience or post-basic specialty in Midwifery or Community Health Nursing/Gerontology/Obstetric Nursing/Pediatric Nursing/Medical Surgical Nursing;
- Able to speak, write and teach in Malay/English;
- Possess own transport and able to travel to clinical posting (Clinical Instructor).
