Job Summary:
A Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations and maximize productivity. This role involves managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Warehouse Staff: Oversee daily activities, train new employees, and evaluate performance standards for warehouse personnel.
- Inventory Management: Track and coordinate the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods. Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize warehouse processes, improve productivity, and suggest enhancements to existing procedures.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintain equipment, and enforce company policies.
- Communication and Coordination: Interact with internal Salesperson to resolve issues and meet customer satisfaction goals.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain records of warehouse operations, including inventory reports.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse management role is preferred.
- Ability to lead teams effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and operational issues efficiently.
- Education - Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, management, or logistics is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:
- Yearly bonus
Experience:
- Warehouse management system: 5 years (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
Expected Start Date: 05/01/2025
