Description :
JOB PURPOSE:
To manage the procurement of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB), support Crude Palm Oil (CPO) trading and marketing, and develop strategies for profitable operations, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Procure FFB to maintain consistent and efficient milling operations in Malaysia and Indonesia.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with FFB sellers and stakeholders through networking and travel.
- Support trading and sales execution for CPO across the Group.
- Analyze Bursa Malaysia Derivatives to create market insights and trading strategies.
- Conduct research and report on global vegetable oil markets, including supply and demand trends.
- Prepare daily position reports and undertake tasks as assigned by superiors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum CGPA 3.0) in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Science from a recognized university.
- Previous experience in commodity trading is advantageous.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, innovative, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and willingness to travel.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to RM4,000.00 per month
