We are looking for a motivated and proactive Sales & Marketing Intern to support our business development, tender monitoring, marketing activities, and client engagement efforts. This internship provides valuable exposure to government tenders, sales follow-up, market research, and marketing campaign execution.

Responsibilities

Government Tender & Project Support

• Monitor the ePerolehan government tender portal for suitable opportunities.
• Check available Sarawak local government open tenders.
• Follow up on government and business leads provided by the company.
• Assist in preparing basic tender-related information and documentation.

Sales Support

• Assist in developing and carrying out sales strategies.
• Identify potential customers and support outreach activities.
• Respond to basic sales inquiries and assist in client follow-up.
• Support the team in preparing quotations, proposals, and presentations.

Marketing Support

• Assist in planning and executing marketing activities and campaigns.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
• Support promotional collaborations with media, sponsors, or business partners.

Customer Relationship Management

• Help maintain good relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Assist in handling customer inquiries and follow-up communication.
• Support customer satisfaction initiatives through regular coordination.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the sales and marketing team on daily tasks and projects.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth campaign and project execution.

Event & Business Exposure

• Assist the company during conferences, exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.
• Help explore partnership opportunities and support professional engagement activities.

Content & Promotional Material

• Assist in preparing brochures, flyers, social media content, and other marketing materials.
• Support the execution of promotional campaigns across various platforms.

Market Analysis

• Assist in collecting and analyzing market information.
• Provide basic feedback on customer interests, competitor activities, and market opportunities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Mass Communication, or related field.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Willing to learn, proactive, and able to work in a team.
• Interest in sales, marketing, business development, and government projects/tenders.
• Able to work in Kuching.
