VACANCY: SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR AT MODERN NEXUS SDN. BHD. (Branch Paka, Terengganu)

Job Summary :-

• To create safety awareness and carry out safety meeting, fire drill exercises, safety induction and safety training to existing employees and new employees
• To implement and monitor aspects of Safety Management System activities in the workplace.
• Whenever there is no SHO at the workplace, to submit a Monthly Safety Report and Safety Statistic record for DOSH and HQ record.
• To observe and/or maintain a diary detailing safety activity(s), hazardous works, housekeeping, safety instruction, etc. in place.
• To implement all procedures and practices as stipulated in the company’s policy including Safety and ISO.
• To provide assistance for safety before and during internal and external audits by ensuring all related documents at the site are updated from time to time.
• Review all HIRARC and Job Hazard Analysis before its execution.
• Maintain pertinent information on Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and to ensure the relevant communication information is distributed to the responsible party.

Requirements:-

• Valid Yellow Book holder registered with Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH)
• At least two (2) years working experience at site and/or assignment exposure
• Familiar with standard concepts and best practices for construction/substation/environment for both safety and administration
• Good writing and verbal communication skills in both English & Bahasa
• Keen intention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
• Team work
• Valid driving license.
• Minimum supervision.
• Work irregular hours to accomplish urgent shipment and/or pending assignments, when requested.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
