Position Overview:
The Purchasing Executive is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services for the company. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, placing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies. The role ensures that purchasing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Order Management:
- Place purchase orders based on company requirements and stock levels.
- Monitor and track order deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Ensure all purchase orders are accurately documented and processed.
- Inventory Control:
- Coordinate with inventory teams to monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary.
- Assist in managing inventory to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Cost Control:
- Monitor and track purchasing costs to ensure adherence to budget.
- Look for opportunities to negotiate better prices or find cost-effective alternatives.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases, supplier agreements, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities and cost analysis.
- Compliance:
- Ensure that all purchasing activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
