Job Responsibilities
- Support the Supplier Development & Quality (SDQ) team in managing non-conforming parts within the Non-Conformance (NC) Cage area, ensuring timely updates and effective communication on material status.
- Coordinate purging activities and liaise with SDQ members and external suppliers on sorting and rework tasks.
- Oversee material flow from the warehouse to the sorting/rework area, including worker training and part status updates in Dynamics 365.
- Ensure part lists and physical inventory in NC Cage areas (1A, 1B, PKT) are accurate and aligned with system records.
- Monitor and manage aging inventory in the NC Cage (target: within 4 weeks):
- Liaise with SDQ team members on pending dispositions.
- Process scrapping and Return to Vendor (RTV) requests as required.
- Support and execute instructions from the SDQ Head while adhering to all VAT standards, policies, and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in any discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or quality support functions.
- Hands-on experience with inventory or warehouse management systems (experience in Dynamics 365 is an advantage).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer applications (for system postings and report updates).
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, self-driven team player who can work both independently and collaboratively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
