Description :

Requirements: •

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering or relevant studies.
• 3 to 5 years of technical experience in construction chemicals, waterproofing, concrete admixture, cementation, paint and coating.
• Good waterproofing product knowledge: high performance liquid applied acrylic, pure polyurethane & polyurea membranes, PVC membranes, TPO membranes, integral crystalline solutions, et-cetera.

Responsibilities:

• To ensure that all internal R & D systems and practices of Company are in alignment with the Company strategy, monitor the execution of the Research & Development of New Products
• Development of water based waterproofing products, paint/coating and other allied construction chemicals, within specified time and budget.
• Plan, direct and execute technical activities in plant, lab and customers’ site.
• Direct and executive planning for Raw Material for new product development and product modifications with purchase department and production department well in advance.
• Cost optimization of existing products and introduction of alternate raw materials
• Work with Sales and Marketing to identify, develop and evaluate new products and new technologies and monthly report to management.
• Work with customers and salespeople to support field trials of new products
• Evaluates performance records of new products, based on salespeople and customer feedback, physical performance of products, submits report of findings to management.
• Work with Sales and Marketing to identify, develop and evaluate new products and new technologies and monthly report to management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
