About You
You’ll help manage and maintain the vehicle inventory at your assigned Experience Center, ensuring it meets high-quality standards. This helps improve customer satisfaction, boosts sales, maintains competitive pricing, and reduces complaints. You’ll work closely with other departments (Logistics, Supply/Inventory, Carsome Certified Lab, After-Sales, etc.) and collaborate with peers at other Experience Centers to maintain the company’s inventory.
Your Day-to-Day
- Handle vehicle and road tax ownership transfers for retail inventory.
- Work with the Logistics team to prepare vehicles for Puspakom inspections.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicles for inspections before sales or deliveries.
- Manage inventory movement, including receiving, transferring, repairs, and returns.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are recorded in the system (CMS/WMS).
- Inspect new inventory for issues like flood or accident damage.
- Prepare vehicles for transfers, test drives, customer deliveries, and other purposes.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on vehicles (engine, oil, battery, etc.).
- Work with the After-Sales team or workshops to handle repairs within the budget.
- Support monthly stock counts with relevant teams.
- Maintain records of work, defects, quality, and repair costs.
- Ensure tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Participate in other company activities as needed.
Your Know-How
- Qualifications: SPM/Diploma/Degree (any field).
- Preferred Background: Automotive education or at least 2 years in the automotive industry.
- Skills: Good communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
- Familiarity with JPJ/Puspakom procedures is a plus.
- A focus on maintaining high-quality standards for Carsome’s fleet.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
