  • Deliver financial clarity. You will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely reporting across the business.

  • Drive process improvement. By applying first-principles thinking, you’ll strengthen internal controls (e.g., credit notes, revenue recognition) and identify opportunities to streamline and automate routine processes.

What you’ll do

Financial Operations

  • Handle full-set accounts and complete month-end close.
  • Manage accounts receivable (student fees, SkillsFuture grants, corporate billings) and accounts payable.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cash-flow forecasts, and variance analyses for the Finance Manager.
  • Reconcile revenue between our LMS/CRM and accounting system to ensure accuracy.

Process Improvement

  • Maintain and refine finance SOPs, including a quarterly checklist that prevents slip-ups (e.g., timely credit notes for course withdrawals).
  • Identify automation opportunities (Xero/QuickBooks integrations, spreadsheet macros) that save time and reduce error.

Stakeholder Support

  • Respond to departmental budget queries and provide finance insights for new course launches.
  • Assist HR on payroll inputs and CPF reconciliation as needed.

What we’re looking for

  • Accounting diploma/degree or ACCA; at least 1-2 years full-set accounting experience in an SME or fast-growth environment.
  • Solid grasp of FRS, GST rules, and IRAS regulations.
  • Proficiency with cloud accounting platforms (Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Meticulous, analytical, and proactive in driving continuous improvement.
  • Genuine interest in education and a passion for helping professionals upskill.
