Position: Account cum Purchasing Executive
Salary: RM2,000 – RM2,500
Working Days: Saturday – Thursday
Working Hours: 9.00 AM – 5.00 PM
Location: Lot 51, Kg Padang Bonggor, 15400 Kota Bharu, Kelantan
Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Account cum Purchasing Executive to support both accounting and procurement functions within the company.
In this role, you will handle accounting records, supplier payments, purchasing coordination, and cost monitoring to ensure smooth financial and operational processes. This position is suitable for individuals who are organised, analytical, and capable of managing both financial documentation and supplier coordination efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
1) Handle full or partial accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and basic reconciliations
2) Process supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and maintain accurate accounting records
3) Manage purchasing activities including supplier sourcing, price comparison, and issuance of Purchase Orders (PO)
4) Utilize SQL systems or ERP software to manage and track accounting and purchasing data
5) Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors
6) Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors regarding orders, costs, discrepancies, and payments
7) Monitor purchase orders and delivery status to ensure timely receipt of goods or services
8) Prepare and submit weekly and monthly purchasing and accounting reports for management review
9) Maintain proper documentation for purchases, invoices, contracts, and financial records
10) Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and procurement procedures
Requirements
1) Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
2) Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting or purchasing roles is preferred
3) Familiar with SQL Accounting or ERP systems is an advantage
4) Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
