Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials through our supply chain. This position requires a solid understanding of logistics operations, including transportation management systems, warehouse management systems, and order fulfillment processes. The Logistics Associate will ensure that packages are handled efficiently and that inventory levels are maintained accurately.

Responsibilities

• Planning and Coordination:
• Developing and implementing logistics plans for transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and implementing effective inventory control measures.
• Monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing warehouse space.
• Transportation Management:
• Negotiating transportation rates and contracts with carriers.
• Planning and optimizing transportation routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Warehousing:
• Overseeing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
• Maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status and potential issues.
• Preparing reports and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:
• Identifying and resolving logistical issues, such as delays, damage, or discrepancies.
• Making sound decisions based on data and analysis to optimize logistics processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: To identify and resolve logistical challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: To effectively interact with various stakeholders.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles: To understand the flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
• Experience with inventory management software: To track and manage inventory levels.
• Familiarity with transportation and warehousing operations: To effectively plan and coordinate logistics activities.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
